7 days in with my RIZN trial. As I’ve posted before on this site:
    – I’m staying on Finasteride (pills) & 5% minox foam
    – I use RIZN about 1 -2 hours after Minox in the morning
    – No greasy interaction between Minox & RIZN. In fact, there’s no bad hair texture afterwards at all (for me anyway)
    – No shed so far.
    – Expectations are low….we’ll see!
    – Sorry, no photos. I’m so dern handsome, my photo would break the Internet!

Taking a photo of your scalp, while not revealing your face, is always an option. Just saying. Thanks for your feedback as well, I imagine an evaluation will take at least 2.5-3 months for visual changes to occur if they do.

Sadly they don’t deliver it to germany yet..
I would love to implement it to my daily routine!

    • Paul on September 6, 2021 at 5:00 am

Yes unfortunately they don’t believe to Germany… Could anybody reship it ?

  3. felix on September 1, 2021 at 4:05 pm

So after 8 days, there is absolutely no skin irritation or redness from applying RIZN. And that includes using it 1 – 2 hours after I apply Minox foam. So that’s good news.

Now, it’s just on for the long wait to see if I get any thickening in 3 months. I don’t expect any new growth. It would be nice if it thickened some of the miniaturized hairs I have along my front hairline and temples. I’ll try to update again around Sept 25, which will be the 1 month mark for me.

I bought the 6 month package, the topical and the vitamins. It’s been one week. I have thinning across the entire top of head so I am struggling with identifying the proper amount to apply. Directions say 5 pumps on the area, but for entire top of scalp it would have to be more. I did have burning for a day when I did 15 pumps spread throughout. Also, it’s very watery and runs down your head very quickly. The vitamins seem great. Easy to swallow and good ingredients. I’ve noticed positive health impacts already from this – libido related. I take dutasteride a few days a week. It stopped my hair loss but no regrow then. I tried various topical minoxidil but did not respond. I’m thinking about adding PRP and oral minox

    • Reader20 on September 14, 2021 at 5:09 pm

      mike
About how much to apply? I asked Rizn on their “Contact Us” web page, “Apply 5 sprays on the targeted area is ambiguous. If applying to the top of the head (include frontal, mid-scalp, part of the crown), would this be about 10 sprays and rub in? You should really provide more description and/or examples.”

They emailed back, “The 5 sprays must cover the full surface of the area to treat.
If 5 sprays don’t cover the full surface of the area to treat, 5 more sprays must be applied, until fully covered.”

I am taking this to mean 10 sprays, on the top of my head, is okay for me.

      • mike on September 16, 2021 at 10:56 am

thanks, great info. I have continued with the 15 sprays. Irritation stopped after a few days. Since my loss is fairly diffuse I may up the amount to 20: 5 vertex, 5 mid, 5 left temple, 5 right temple. As for watery consistency, I’ve found that if I spray 2 or 3 and then rub in and repeat it doesn’t roll down too much. I like the once a day application. Will report back in 3 months to say if anything changed. At this rate, that’s probably how long my 6 month supply will last.

  5. mark on September 9, 2021 at 7:24 pm

Where do you get oral minoxidil from?

    • Mike on September 12, 2021 at 9:30 pm

your primary care doctor or hair transplant doctor in the US

  6. Jack on September 20, 2021 at 10:03 am

Unfortunately Rizn isn’t being shipped to my country yet so I’m looking forward to further updates from you guys.

  7. Reader20 on September 23, 2021 at 11:27 am

It has been one month. I apply Rizn at around 7:00 in the evening. The first time I used it on the treated areas, I felt a slight burning for about 4 hours. This has not reoccurred. After about four days of use, the shedding of my hair went from noticeable to hardly noticeable. Otherwise, I have not seen any other changes during the past month. Also, I am not using any other hair restoration products.

  8. felix on September 24, 2021 at 8:13 pm

I just completed my 1st month on RIZN.

    No scalp irritation or shedding.

The directions call for 5 squirts of RIZN per application.
I went with just 4 squirts in the first month. I didn’t
know how long a bottle would last and I wanted to make sure
I had at least 3 months worth (3 bottles).

Using 4 squirts per application, I have some left over from the first bottle,
so starting in month 2 of my trial, I will start using 5 squirts.

I’m still using Minox foam (5%) & finasteride (pills). Been on those
    since the Stone Age.

Next update: October 25 when I finish my 2nd month.

  9. Mike on September 28, 2021 at 7:25 pm

One month in as well. I do not see any difference. I apply about 15-20 sprays each night from vertex to hairline and take the pills each morning. No irritation no shedding. Will post pictures if they demonstrate progress at month 3. Too soon to tell yet but nothing negative to report now.

  10. Reader20 on October 2, 2021 at 5:50 pm

    Photo link, https://ibb.co/bQW1rj1
This was taken 35 days after starting Rizn. The photo is from September 28, 2021. In the earlier post, I indicated that 4 days after beginning Rizn, hair shedding reduced to hardly noticeable. Otherwise, I have not noticed any other changes. I see a small number of new hairs, but I cannot tell if it is normal new growth or Rizn helping. To know if Rizn is working, I am expecting it will be in the 6-month range.

My white hair has started turning Orange . Is used to have red hair 30 years ago

but it does not look like my old hair color yet , looks more like a cheap dye job.

I like the way it goes on, not messy , not too much product with just 5 sprays

I was using twice a day but have cut it off completely to see if my hair color returns to white

    • Reader20 on October 9, 2021 at 6:44 am

I have white hair, which was brown about 20 years ago. I have not noticed any white hair discoloration. It has been a little over six weeks using Rizn.
Interesting side effect. Rizn has a contact page on their website where you could ask about this.

  13. CoffeePlz on October 13, 2021 at 2:47 pm

Just ordered a 3 month supply. I’m a woman, early 40s and experiencing diffuse hair loss for the last 2 years. I got a biopsy but the results were inconclusive. I’m currently on 50mg of spironolactone, which eventually I will bump to 100mg.

I’ll try to post “before” pics once I receive the product.

  14. felix on October 15, 2021 at 10:44 am

I’m on Day 50 of RIZN. I wasn’t going to post again until Day 60, but there are a couple updates in the interim:
    1) I am still on the 1st bottle of the product, which surprises (and delights!) me. The first month I only used 4 squirts per application as I did not know how long a bottle would last. This month I started 5 squirts (the recommended amount). The past couple days, I upped it to 6 squirts to make sure I am covering the frontal areas that need it. I won’t go higher than 6.

    2) I am wondering if my hair is getting thicker and a little longer (perhaps longer growth cycle) in my frontal hairline area. I’m due for a haircut tomorrow, so that could be part of it. But my hair looks better than it has since I was on Dutasteride.

It is too early for me to be getting new hair growth from RIZN alone, but as I’ve posted before, I’m also on finasteride pills and 5% minox, so this could be having a special synergistic effect in thickening the hair.

I’m looking forward to see what things look like in November. Next post will be the 2-month mark, which will be Oct. 25.

    • Kevin on October 15, 2021 at 11:28 am

Thanks for the update Felix! I’m thinking about starting RIZN along my hairline as well and combining it with microneedling.

  15. Reader20 on October 23, 2021 at 9:15 pm

It has been two months since I have started using Rizn. I do have small hairs appearing, but I still cannot tell if this is normal or if the Rizn is working. Given hair grows only half an inch in a month and the new growth is not increasing evenly on my scalp, I suspect it will take four-plus months to see if any real difference is happening.

I found the link to the patent for Triple Hair-Rizn. First click on this link to the PubChem web page, https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/patent/US-10039703-B2 . In section “2 FULL TEXT” on the PubChem page, click the first link in sub-section “USPTO”. Interesting reading.
Also, there is a red box with the link-text “Images” at the bottom of this page. Following it will display the images of the submitted patent paperwork and photographs.

  16. felix on October 24, 2021 at 9:52 am

2-month mark today for my trial on this.

I didn’t expect any results from this before the trial, and I still don’t. It was just a diversion until something better came along.

What surprises me is that I’m still on the 1st bottle after 2 months. The first month I only used 4 sprays per day. The second month I upped it to 5 sprays – but the last two weeks, I increased it to 6 daily sprays to make sure my entire frontal area is covered.

Maybe in a month I’ll see a little growth starting, but I’m skeptical.

There did appear to be some thickening of the hair, as I reported here a few weeks ago, but I got a very short haircut last week and I was probably just seeing longer hair due to an increased time between haircuts.

I found it surprising that the company announced earlier this month that 1st month sales for the product were strong and that they plan to be a publicly traded company in the near future. They are still hoping for a Phase III trial for their prescription product in 2022. But if Kintor beats them to market, I’m not sure how many sales they would have for TH-7.

  17. John m on October 28, 2021 at 8:09 pm

Tons because Th-07 and Kintor combo will be the way to go

  18. Mike on October 30, 2021 at 10:59 am

Two months in. Continuing at about 20 sprays over front, mid, and vertex, about 5 sprays per area and 2 pills in the morning. No growth seen but nothing negative to report either. My existing hair looks healthy so perhaps some cosmetic affect of some kind but when I look for new growth I don’t see any yet.

    • Ozzie Gomez on November 2, 2021 at 12:12 pm

Ey Mike, What about hair loss? Is stoped?

      • Mike on November 4, 2021 at 8:22 pm

I’d say my hair loss stabilized prior to RIZN. I’ve used a lot of products over the years so I cannot credit this product for having no further hair loss. I have not experienced any major shed or irritation from this product though. To be honest, their literature pushes a regrowth story line not a cessation of hair loss. There are cheaper options to slow loss. I’m interested only in regrowth at this point. If I don’t notice any after 6 months I will stop using this product.

  19. Reader20 on November 23, 2021 at 9:48 am

It has been three months. The hair shedding has remained hardly noticeable. Here is my three-month photo, https://ibb.co/gM54cLf .
Again, hair grows about half an inch per month. Looking at the start of my hairline, I cannot really tell if there is an improvement from my current photo compared to the about five weeks photo. There might be less scalp showing? Hard to tell. However, the same amount of hair or more would be good news.
The six month mark will likely be an indicator that Rizn is working or not.

    • Follicle Thought on November 23, 2021 at 10:28 am

Thanks for sharing Reader20. I do tend to see a slight improvement in your hairline because your scalp is less visible. It looks slightly more dense.
      What do others think?
Also, it would be optimal if you had an angle that was a bit closer to the original angle so that we could see the hair just behind the hairline for a better evaluation. Thanks.

      • Reader20 on November 23, 2021 at 8:39 pm

        Hi Follicle Thought:

Here is the second attempt at a photo today (11/23), https://ibb.co/gS2wRxL . It is hard to take a consistent picture because my hair has a lot of white in it. If I get too close to the ceiling light, it washes out the black ones I have left and makes it hard to compare the “before and after.”

My hair might have an improvement. I would like to think it is at least stable compared to the first photo at about five weeks of starting Rizn. I still believe six months will provide a better indication of Rizn is working or not.

        • Follicle Thought on November 23, 2021 at 9:42 pm

Thank you Reader. I agree that 6 months is definitely a better scope of time for judging. But, can you confirm that the 1st photo was not wet hair? I feel like I’m seeing improvement already, would like to hear other’s opinions.

          • Reader20 on November 23, 2021 at 10:01 pm

            Follicle Thought:

My hair was not wet, but likely more scalp/hair oil is coating it. The photo was taken about the second day after washing my hair. I generally wash my hair about every two days.

  20. felix on November 24, 2021 at 10:11 am

Today is my 3-month mark for RIZN.

I’m still on Minoxidil 5% and Finasteride (tablets) – been on them since Napoleon ruled.

I have a V-shaped receding hairline – had it for many years.
There are some days (past few weeks) when the frontal hairline looks better.
However, I don’t think there is any new growth. It could
be that RIZN has thickened a few of the hairs near the front hairline
or that it increases the time of the growth cycle. I still have many
miniaturized hairs in the frontal area (1-2 cm) that never get longer than that, so RIZN ain’t doing much if anything.

I have had peach fuzz in my temples prior to RIZN – there is no new growth in the temples.

So at the 3-month mark, I’m not impressed (and not surprised). I have
enough left to continue for I would guess 2 more months. I’ll continue
    onward.

  21. Mike on November 24, 2021 at 8:28 pm

3 months in. No growth to report. Will give it 3 more months. I start PRP injections in 2 weeks. Will do that 3 times in the next 3 months. Hopefully this combo will make a difference.

  22. Michael M on November 25, 2021 at 11:30 am

I have been using RIZN since late august. It has been around 3 months. I have a receding hairline with a lot of miniaturized hairs on the front of my head. I feel like I have seen small improvements from RIZN. First, my hair looks a lot healthier. Second the hair on the front of my head which is going through the miniaturization processing is growing a lot longer than normal. This gives me hope that the miniaturization process will reverse for a large portion of these hairs. All this being said, I have not seen a large enough improvement to prove that the product works.

  23. Jade on November 30, 2021 at 8:30 pm

    Hi Follicle Thought,

On their website Rizn claim that this stops hair loss.

1)Do you think this can be used as a monotherapy for stopping further progression of hair loss?

    2) Do we know if the solution has any minoxidil or finasteride in it?

    3) Is this FDA approved? Their website shows they went through some clinical trials but it’s explained very vague.

    Thanks in advance.

    • Follicle Thought on November 30, 2021 at 9:57 pm

Hi Jade, this thread is intended to help answer those questions. I don’t know the strength of Rizn but hopefully it will be helpful. The ingredients are easily found on the website, it’s drug free. It’s marketed first as an OTC and therefore not FDA approved.

  24. Luke on December 2, 2021 at 9:12 pm

Hi, I started Rizn th16 mid September. Probably using about 1 bottle per month so far- areas of hair loss on crown then a line down across mid scalp and most recently along hair line .

Uk based and firstly bought 2 with the supplements, did not enjoy the extra import costs and shipping forwarding process, so last month ordered 6 months supply.

Also using 1mg oral Fin daily, and 5% minox twice day- since Dec 2020.

November I may have started noticing some regrowth with areas with shorter new hairs 1cm that appear normal thickness of strands and lay in similar curl patterns .( I have shoulder length curly hair)

    But

I’ve had increased shedding since end of AUGUST (diffuse all round including base of the back of my head ). Consistently counting 150-200 average October and november – washing every1-2 days. These hairs are mostly longer older strands… and i’ve lost a lot of overall length.

I had it bad with Covid towards the end of July and wonder if that has caused this increase. And In doing so the whole process will have become more difficult to judge.?

Maybe just my oversight but hair line thinning seemed to be much worse 2nd week of being ill..or too soon for an effluvium effect..?

Some other factors constantly on my mind which could be complicating..

Diet changes ..maybe not as healthy (more stressed and increased alcohol past 3 months)

new supply of Fin tablets in August are a different brand…

have played with micro needling during spring and summer on and off. Non with Rizn

feel like i should stop everything and wait some period of time then restart…

. was it wrong time to start the Rizn?

  25. felix on December 7, 2021 at 11:57 am

Getting close to 3.5 months on this stuff. Once again, there are times when my front hairline looks better than it has. I would guess some of the hairs that were miniaturized for years have gotten some added length. Nothing dramatic, though. But when my hair is really short after a cut, it doesn’t look as improved as when it’s been a few weeks after a haircut.

But I did notice the past few days that the hairs on one of my temples looks like it has some thicker growth.

I’m still on my 2nd bottle – this stuff lasts a long time with 5-6 squirts.

  26. Mike on December 10, 2021 at 1:00 am

it’s been over three months for anyone who started this thread, and results have not matched the claims of 100% success–probably not surprising. Perhaps more time is needed- I’ll give it 3 months more as I posted earlier as the literature states that the 4 month mark is when the noticeable growth begins to happen. But I also want to point out that fidelity of use affects any treatment plan for any condition. This is not aimed at anyone in particular but some who posted have mentioned that their bottle is lasting a long time. While I suppose it may matter how large an area you are covering, fidelity of use–both in the proper amount and the frequency of use would be critical for success. If it’s lasting long you may want to check if you are pressing all the way down or spreading it out over too large an area. I go through a bottle every 3 weeks. I am covering the vertex, middle and front of my scalp–that’s about 20 sprays. If someone is getting more than 8 weeks out of a bottle perhaps they aren’t using enough product to get results. Then again, I’m using a lot and still haven’t noticed any regrowth. It doesn’t sound like any of us are getting promising results yet so maybe this product will wind up being like most other “new” solutions and just doesn’t work or maybe 3 months from now we’ll all be shocked…let’s hope for the best.

    • Follicle Thought on December 10, 2021 at 8:40 am

Thanks for chiming in Mike, well wishes on your trial.

      • Reader20 on December 12, 2021 at 12:02 am

I am applying an amount of Rizn that is between Felix and Mike’s use. Nightly I use 10-12 sprays of Rizn. It will be interesting if we get a difference in hair growth response between us.

It might be easier if Rizn provided a measured dropper to apply like non-foam Rogaine does. Anyway, I asked Rizn about how much to use. This is from my post on Sept 14, 2021 about how much to apply:
“About how much to apply? I asked Rizn on their “Contact Us” web page, “Apply 5 sprays on the targeted area is ambiguous. If applying to the top of the head (include frontal, mid-scalp, part of the crown), would this be about 10 sprays and rub in? You should really provide more description and/or examples.”
They emailed back, “The 5 sprays must cover the full surface of the area to treat.
If 5 sprays don’t cover the full surface of the area to treat, 5 more sprays must be applied, until fully covered.”
I am taking this to mean 10 sprays, on the top of my head, is okay for me.”

  27. felix on December 10, 2021 at 9:02 am

If your post was directed at me – The instructions clearly call for 5 sprays. I know how to read and apply. It does not call for 20 sprays – that’s on you. I actually bumped it up to 6 sprays / day – more than they say to use. I give the company credit for at least producing a bottle that lasts a long time – IF it is used as directed. The product is not a cure and judging by their before and after photos, I have said I don’t agree that it outperforms 5% minox. But this experiment has helped me pass the time while I wait on good news on the more helpful stuff.

  28. Jade on December 11, 2021 at 2:13 pm

    Hi guys,

Do we know if RIZN would be stimulative therapy like minoxidil which would mean that it doesn’t stop hair loss it just promotes growth, or would it be hair loss prevention therapy like finasteride which blocks further hair loss?

    • Reader20 on December 11, 2021 at 11:42 pm

Rizn is indicated to stop loss and promote hair growth. See the website link, https://rizn.ca/patented-formula/ .

      It shows on the page:
Therapy-16 [another name for Rizn] works synergistically in 2 actions:
      • Helps to stop the process of hair loss
      • Induces hair regrowth and increases hair thickness

  29. Chris on December 22, 2021 at 12:15 pm

I tried Rizn for a few weeks before I noticed that it was turning my grey hair orange. I stopped and asked the company for a refund. They initially agreed, by email on November 24, but have gone silent and, despite two follow up emails from me, have not issued the refund.

Bottom line, this product is probably not for people with grey hair, and the company doesn’t seem reputable or responsive.

    • Follicle Thought on December 23, 2021 at 11:19 am

You are the second person to mention the orange hair effect. It seems that Rizn is now increasing their customer service department.

    • Reader20 on December 30, 2021 at 8:56 pm

Hi Chris, some questions about your gray hair turned orange effect. Some of these questions might give a clue as to why you are seeing orange hair. Also, it might help other gray-haired people understand this effect.
      1. What gender are you? [Me: male]
      2. What color was your hair before it turned gray? [Me: Brown]
      3. Where did it turn orange? Where Rizn is applied only? It happened to most of the hair on your head? [Me: Mine has not turned orange.]
      4. How dark is the orange color. More yellow to dark orange? [Me: NA]
      5. How long did it take to turn orange? [Me: NA]
      6. How long is your hair that turned orange? [Me: 10 inches and longer. I comb it straight to the back of my head. It has not turned orange.]
      7. Did most of the hair shafts turn orange or only the part next to the scalp? [Me: NA]
      8. Do you use a hair gel type of product during the day? If so, which ones. [Me: I do not use these products, just comb it.]
      9. Often do you wash your hair? [Me: About every two days.]
      10. What do you wash your hair with? [Me: T/Sal only.]

  30. Reader20 on December 23, 2021 at 10:27 am

Month four. For about two weeks my hair sheading was noticeable again. But it then stopped over a week ago.
I do see some one-inch hairs along my top hairline. Since hair grows half an inch per month, these are newer. Overall, I am still not sure Rizn is working. Also, my gray hair is not turning orange as two people indicated they experienced.
I am using between 10-12 sprays on top of my head in the evening. I rub it in for about a minute. I have been finding that a bottle is lasting about a month.

    • Reader20 on December 23, 2021 at 10:31 am

Correction/update, I am seeing some half inch hairs along my top hairline, along with the one-inch ones.

  31. Mike on December 27, 2021 at 2:25 am

4 months, no progress to report. Wish I had one of those devices that zoom in to the scalp. I want to believe that new growth is happening but I don’t see any, not even with my camera zoom. Will keep going through next 2 months. I ordered 3 more bottles.

I hit the 4-month mark over the Christmas weekend.

I have gone longer than usual since my typical 3 or 4 week haircut. So my hair is longer than usual….but, my front hairline does look different now. I believe the product has reversed some miniaturized hairs (that had been in my frontal area). Or else it has thickened some hairs. I still have a receding hairline, but my hair now covers it up better (and not just because it is longer than usual between cuts).

I am probably the only one who is taking this product with 5% minox and finasteride (pills), so I could be getting a better-than-usual response.

Over the weekend, I found out about another natural product, Replenology. The cost of the combo items are far too much for me, and I don’t want to take their supplement. But I decided to order 2 bottles of their nutriment spray. I will add that to my RIZN, minox, and fin pills to see if I can get even more growth in my frontal area. I will only spray the Replenology in the frontal area, so it should last me for quite awhile.

I should also point out that while I have been on finasteride and dutasteride (not at the same time) for many, many years, my urologist today said he wants me to get off the finasteride pills. He was involved in the very first study decades ago. So later this year when my supply runs out, I will switch to topical finasteride. I haven’t told him that part – he’s skeptical it would work.

    Carry on!

  33. Jade on December 29, 2021 at 6:21 am

I am just curious, what did your urologist say about finasteride? By saying he was involved in the first studies do you mean he was part of the research team, or was he a patient for the clinical studies?

My disappointment in Triple Hair is that they have not posted anything about RIZN on FB since the product was first released. Are they even trying to market it at this point? I can’t imagine sales are all that good. If it weren’t for this site, I never would have heard of the company to begin with.

    • Reader20 on December 30, 2021 at 8:34 pm

There is not much about Rizn on the web. If you search “Rizn” on Google, four hits are listed. The Rizn site is listed first, which is good. Next is this webpage of postings. So, I guess we currently are doing our part to help market their product. The other listings are Rizn’s Facebook and a posted Dec 7, 2021, GlobalNewswire announcement.

I noticed Triple Hair had a different Sales Director several months ago. The current one is Jean Lachapelle. Maybe now we will start to see more aggressive marketing by them.

  35. felix on December 31, 2021 at 9:58 am

I am due to get the Replenology spray this week. But I wanted to update and say that my front hairline does look quite different now since being on RIZN for 4+ months. It’s more on one side of the receding hairline than the other. With my hair longer than usual, I can cover up my receding hairline pretty easily now.

If I put on a ball cap in the morning to smash down my hair, then the rest of the day, my front hairline has not looked like this in many years. Getting out of the shower this morning with my hair all wet, I was surprised how different it looks.

Never thought I would say this, but I plan on staying on RIZN. 4+ months in and I’m am still on my 2nd bottle, which makes this very cheap for me. I think the difference for me must be that I apply it about 1-2 hours after 5% minox foam. There must be something that improves the results for me. I seriously doubt that RIZN alone would be doing this.

I’ll update on Replenology when it comes.

    • Reader20 on December 31, 2021 at 6:38 pm

      Hi Felix,
At what times of the day do you apply the Minoxidil (I assume twice a day)? Is it the foam or liquid version? After which application of Minoxidil do you apply the Rizn two hours later?
Me, Rizn only in the evening around 7:00.

      • Reader20 on January 1, 2022 at 10:24 am

        Felix:
Scratch the question about what version of Minoxidil you use. I now see it is foam you use.

  36. felix on January 1, 2022 at 10:35 am

Reader20 – I apply Minox 5% foam in the AM around 9am. At the same time, I take my finasteride pill. About 1-2 hours later, I apply 6 squirts of RIZN. Then at night, I apply the Minox 5% foam again.

This week, I have to adjust that because the Replenology is supposed to be applied at night. So my 2nd Minox 5% foam will be applied early evening, and the Replenology will be applied at bedtime.

Replenology calls for about 5 squirts. But I will save money and only apply 3 squirts to my frontal hairline. I don’t need it so much on my crown.

I will only use the Replenology nuritment. I’m not spending money on their other products.

Hi felix, Thank you for getting back to me.

  37. Kevin on January 4, 2022 at 11:32 pm

Curious if people still feel like it has reduced hair loss?

  38. felix on January 5, 2022 at 8:59 am

Last night was Day 1 for the Replenology nutriment spray. It’s not very user friendly at all. Not really even a spray. It’s a thick orange-light brown substance (almost a cream) that oozed out of the bottle. The RIZN spray is much easier and much more user-friendly.

I have also noticed some discoloration of my grey hair with RIZN. Almost a yellowy tint in some light. Good thing they tell you to apply the Replenology before bedtime, because part of my hair was tinted orange-brown after massaging it in. Ahhh – the things we do to get our hair back.

  39. FTT on January 6, 2022 at 6:11 pm

Just wanted to say thank you for providing these updates Felix, I really appreciate them. I am curious as to how Replenology works for you, they make some lofty claims!

  40. felix on January 7, 2022 at 8:58 am

Thanks FTT. First off, great customer service at Replenology. I’m on Day 3, so it will be awhile if I see results with their spray.

I’ve now gone about 7 weeks without cutting my hair. Normally it gets cut ever 3-4 weeks, tops. My hair is pretty bushy on top. Slight hairloss in the crown area, but very slight. Front receding (looks like a widow’s peak) is my real concern. But I have more hair than most men my age now. This after losing my hair at age 21(!) and being so depressed I couldn’t get out of bed the weekend it started. Losing hair when all your peers have theirs is pretty rough.

  41. CoffeePlz on January 16, 2022 at 8:07 pm

I’m the lone woman here, so here’s my 3 month update: it isn’t working for me. I bought a dropper with measurement lines so I’m consistently using Rizn’s recommended 1ml amount. Since my hair is long I’m able to count me shed hairs on most days. Both prior and during Rizn I’ve been losing 100-150 hairs on wash days and ~50 on non. So the shedding remains the same.

I haven’t had that much regrowth either. I have some small hairs at my temples but they could be miniaturized hairs for all I know. The only other hair treatments I’m using are 75mg of spironolactone and the LaserMax hair band.

I will probably use up my 3 month supply (which is actually 6 months bc one bottle lasts me 2 months) and then give in and use minoxidil.

I am pleased to see how you’ve been keeping up to date with Rizn. As Felix posted on December 29, the company is growing to better meet your needs.

I have the pleasure to announce that Jessica Paxton has joined our customer service group. She will follow this blog and will be active to answer your questions. You may also communicate directly with her at support@rizn.ca

  43. Kevin on January 18, 2022 at 7:54 pm

    Jean/Jessica,

I think it’s great you joined this discussion!

I can only speak for myself but rizn makes some bold claims and if they are legitimate then there should be plenty of photos to back up those claims. Personally, I haven’t seen any of those and no one on this forum has had any positive reviews. That’s why I’m reluctant to purchase your product so far.

    • Jessica, Triple Hair Customer Service on January 20, 2022 at 9:59 am

      Kevin,
Thank you for your post. We take customer satisfaction seriously and are glad to hear your opinion.
Firstly, hair loss is multifactorial, and for that reason, our product won’t work for everyone. Our product efficacy is similar to minoxidil which we know is limited. That’s why many customers will have better results if they combine with our vitamins or minoxidil.
Secondly, as a new product for hair loss, it takes time before getting feedback from users who had positive results. We do have more and more customers who have reordered multiple times and are currently working on getting feedback from them.
If you have any questions or need further assistance you may also communicate directly with me at support@rizn.ca

      Thank you

  44. Mike on January 19, 2022 at 7:31 pm

I may be seeing the first signs of improvement. Not in the front, possibly in the vertex, but definitely in an area where I had shock loss from a hair transplant. I had a cm wide patch of no hair below the scar line from a HT 4 years ago. Minox did not work. With RIZN, I put a lot on top of my head and some trickles down the sides and I’ve just rubbed it in where ever it went. I just realized today that they little patch is gone.

  45. Reader20 on January 20, 2022 at 2:55 am

New information about gray, white, or pale hair may be turning a different color with Rizn, from their website at https://rizn.ca/product/rizn-hair-density-spray/.
“When using RIZN Hair Density Spray, people with white, grey or very pale hair may experience hair color change when exposed to the sun due to the photosensitivity of the formula.
We advise wearing a hat or applying the product at night and washing the hair thoroughly in the morning to avoid exposing the hair with product residues to the sun.”
I do get a color change during the summer to light yellow in some areas. I use Aveda Blue Malva Shampoo to fix it. This is not a recommended approach if you experience a Rizn color change or for Aveda. Just a comment.
I have not been out much this winter, so it might or might not be why I see no color change in my gray hair.

      Hi Reader20

Thank you for sharing our recommended usage for white, grey or pale hair.

Blue shampoo is an interesting approach. Thank you for that. We will investigate it with our specialists.

          Dear Triplehairistheway,

We are only allowed to ship to Canadian and American addresses for now, but we are currently working on getting regulatory approval in more countries for our product formulation.

Although we had orders from international customers being delivered to reshippers in the United States, we cannot advise doing this.

We will let you know when we can directly ship our products to Europe.

Rest assured that we are working on it.

        Hello Jessica,

If anyone at Rizn can comment further on the hair discoloration I would appreciate it. I have mix of grey and black hair and all the grey hair has turned yellow brown after about 2.5 months. I have tried everything to get rid of the color. Purple shampoo, vinegar, baking soda, lemon juice, etc. Nothing works. It is a shame because I had to stop and it appeared to be helping some of the weaker hairs.

        • Jessica, Triple Hair Customer Service on February 7, 2022 at 2:29 pm

          Hello Nate,

Based on our research, sun exposure would be the leading cause of some people’s yellowing discoloration of pale (grey/white) hair. Could you communicate with us to document your sunlight exposure over those 2.5 months?

Moreover, we would like to discuss how to address your issue.

          Please contact me at support@rizn.com

            Hello Jessica,

I could imagine that potential users also colour their hair. So it may be of interest if there are interactions between hair colours and RIZN.
If not, people that experience an unpleasant hair colour change could simply dye their hair. Inconvenient but at least they can continue using RIZN.

            Regards
            M

          • Nate on February 10, 2022 at 5:21 pm

            Hello Jessica,

Thank you for the response. I had very little sun exposure at all while having Rizn on my hair. Almost always I wear a hat while it is in. Plus it has been awful weather in the North, so going outside anyways has been tough. As of today, I’ve even tried hydrogen peroxide mixed with conditioner. At best my hair is turning bright yellow. I’m getting kind of desperate. I’d prefer if you could post publicly on your suggestions as I would like to see others’ comments.

        • Dr. Satish Asotra, M.Sc. on February 24, 2022 at 5:04 pm

          Dear Nate,

Published literature and Triple Hair’s clinical data have shown a link between sun exposure and the use of topical resveratrol, potentially causing hair discoloration.

However, other potential factors unique to your experience could have a role in the hair discoloration you are experiencing. To further investigate your case and help you better with this issue, we wish to collect additional information related to your experience.

Could you please share with me the following information at support@rizn.ca:
          • Do you have any pictures taken before and after using the RIZN Hair Density Spray?
          • What other hair products did you use (e.g., hair loss products, shampoos, treatments, etc.) in combination with the RIZN Hair Density Spray?
          • For how long did you use the RIZN Hair Density Spray?
          • How many sprays did you apply daily?
          • How many times a day did you use the RIZN Hair Density Spray?
          • When was your application time (morning or evening)?
          • How would you describe your exposure to light (both sunlight and other bright light sources)?

I will be happy to assist you further.

Dr. Satish Asotra, M.Sc., Ph. D. Chief Scientific Officer, Triple Hair

          • Nate on February 26, 2022 at 9:13 am

            Dr. Asotra,

Thank you for replying here on this forum. It is great to see companies take a personal interest in their customers.

A photo won’t help at this point. I’ve done many different things to get the color out. Right now it is yellow. There is a distinct difference from the grey hair on my sides that did not have any Rizn applied.

For other products, I used Zincplex for a month or so. I spay enough to coat my entire scalp. Applied once a day in the morning. I wore a hat most all the time. I had been using about 2.5 months before noticeable color change. I do get exposed to bright light through a window while working.

I was checking for RIZN to be available in Asia.

  47. Mike on January 22, 2022 at 4:27 pm

I uploaded 2 pictures. The left is month 1 and the right is month 5. I don’t see much of a change. I could probably attribute some of the difference to hair not being brushed exactly the same. I have used RiZN every night- 8-10 sprays in this area, more in the front. I also use minox foam, dutasteride, a laser helmet, a micro needle for 3 weeks, 1 prp treatment 2 weeks ago and a boatload of supplements. It’s a lot of time and money for what seems to be very little in return. But I’m keeping this up another 3 months to see if anything improves. The front hasn’t seemed to change but I did see that one patch improve on the side of my head which hadn’t responded to anything before. I do attribute that to RIZN – no picture of that as I have no comparison picture for it.

    Here’s the photo link;:

    • Follicle Thought on January 22, 2022 at 8:01 pm

Thanks for sharing Mike. If I’m getting this right, the after photo is the one where you are wearing a waffle/Henley shirt? I can say I see an improvement in your center/top of your crown. With the regimen you are on it would make sense that you are improving, though I guess the improvement can’t be attributed directly to Rizn. Best wishes for your hair growth journey, I believe you will continue to see improvement over the months.

  48. mike on January 23, 2022 at 8:14 am

you are correct about the pictures. WIth regard to RIZN, other than the recent PRP and micro needling in the past few weeks, RIZN is what is new and what I’ve used most consistently the past 5 months. I’ve been on Dutas for years. No regrowth. I’ve used minox off and on for years and saw no impact. Same with laser helmet. Had it for years, haven’t seen much of a benefit. If there is improvement it would be my guess that RIZN works synergistically and may be serving as a catalyst. Again, there’s not much of a change yet so it’s not any sort of recommendation but it’s the first time I’ve noticed some level or regrowth, albeit minor.

  49. Reader20 on January 25, 2022 at 10:53 pm

Month 5. An issue I noticed after taking a picture of my hair and comparing it to month one’s photo; it is more blond. The Rizn appears to be slightly coloring it finally. In my case, I feel it looks okay since I had brown hair. However, the coloring makes it harder to determine if the hair count has gone up or down. The dark hair was part of the reference to determine if hair increase-decrease occurred.
Looking at my head and not using the camera, it appears I have slightly less thickness. This could be because the darker contrasting hair is mostly colored light blond. Using the camera, it appears that I could be the same density.
I still see half-inch hair along my hairline, indicating some new growth occurred in the last month.

  50. felix on February 20, 2022 at 10:06 pm

Looks like everyone here is now gone, but I wanted to post an update anyway.

    – I have now been on RIZN spray close to 6 months.
    – I have also been on Replenology’s spray for about 1.5 months.
    – I do not take either company’s supplements or other products.
As noted before, I am also on 5% minox foam & finasteride.

I have probably maxed out now with RIZN. After 4 months on it, I was thinking it was not doing anything. But my hair looks noticeably different at the 6-month mark. Part of it could be some symbiotic effect with minox & fin.
I am surprised and pleased with the results. While I still have my receding hairline, I am seeing some dark peach fuzz in parts of those areas. That’s not the good part. The good part is that either my hair is much thicker now and / or it now grows much longer than before (maybe reverse miniaturization). I am now able to have a hairstyle similar to what I had 40 years ago in high school – I have it longer in back and over the ears. When my hair wouldn’t grow long in front, I would have looked goofy with my hair long in back and partly over the ears. And I can cover up my receding hairline much easier.

    – I will update here if the Replenology spray grows any hair in my frontal hairline in the weeks to come. I am not expecting it to. I’ll get on Kintor if it comes out. But once again, I’ve gotten much more out of this than I thought. Minox foam & finasteride hadn’t done this alone – I was on them for many years without the current results I have.

  51. Hopeful on February 21, 2022 at 8:46 pm

Thanks Felix for your updates. I am on month 6 with Rizn and started Replenology 1 month ago as per your post. I am seeing some positive results… hair and scalp seem healthier and some new hair growth. Unfortunately so far it’s not thick growth just spotty new hairs in the balding areas. My routine is minox 5% foam ~6am then Rizn late morning, minox foam again 5pm then Replenology evening. Rizn doesn’t leave any visible residue unlike replenology. I plan to stick with both and hoping more growth over time. Thinking TH-07 will work better when it becomes available

  52. felix on February 22, 2022 at 1:41 pm

Pretty much the same routine as mine, Hopeful. But I put Replenology on right before bed as they recommend its use overnight. The first spray bottle I bought was broken, so I’ve been applying it by screwing the spray top off and dipping a Q-Tip in it. Then I apply to my receding area with the Q-Tip. Doing it this way, I’m still on the first Replenology bottle 6 weeks into it.

    • DAVID LEE on March 2, 2022 at 7:21 am

Hi Felix as i am using Replenology what are your thoughts on the product it is a bit messy brown colour.

  53. Reader20 on February 24, 2022 at 7:08 pm

Month 6, and I am not sure if there is a difference. See https://ibb.co/7K0KYPk . The first phono at month 1, I had not washed my hair for three days. This photo is day 3 of not washing (and I am washing it later today) to be more consistent with the photos. If my hair growth has stabilized, I would consider that to be positive. I did have minor surgery at the beginning of October. Like going on an extended diet, it can stop hair growth or cause more hair shedding. I’ve read it could take six months or so to get back to normal. So, I will keep up with this until at least June.

  54. DAVID LEE on March 2, 2022 at 7:39 am

The only problem i see is like the old hair loss forums that people using too many products and not knowing which one is doing anything, i have tried so many so called regrowth products that i get sceptical anyway as you may know i am on the whole Replenology treatment and i notice the founder has got a good head of hair i know that does not mean a lot but it helps me i will keep you posted on my progress if any.

  55. Shivam on March 2, 2022 at 10:26 pm

I just added Rizn Hair Density spray to my routine which currently consists of a nightly application of 0.025% finasteride, 8% minoxidil, hydrocortisone, tretinoin and azelaic acid. Hoping for good results over the next few months.

  56. Mike on March 5, 2022 at 10:14 am

I finished 6 months and will not be continuing with Rizn. I can honestly say I used this everyday with fidelity, using 9 bottles over 6 months over vertex, mid and front of scalp. Minor impact and not enough to justify continued use for me. I will be continuing oral dutasteride, oral minox and LLT as my base protocol and will continue with PRP for the rest of the year. I understand David’s comment about using too many products and not knowing which one is working, but I would counter that combination treatments have routinely been shown in research to be more effective than one approach. In my case I’m just experimenting to find the right topical for my needs. RIZN sounded promising but didn’t work well enough for me. Best of luck to everyone

    Hello,

I want to tell you all about my experience with this product. It did not do anything for my hair loss but now after using 4-5 month I have gotten chronic headache. I noticed headache in the first days but I reduced the spray number from 6 to 3-4. Then my headache become better. This product also caused me dizziness which reduced my performance in university. I really regret that I used this product, because not only I did not see any improvement in my hair, after stopping it for 1 month I still suffer from headache and dizziness. I have faced another severe problem which I think it is related to using this product as well. I hope I get my health back again. I am seeing a doctor right now.
For all the people who use this product, I highly recommend to stop using it if it, since they might be very dangerous for your health.

Always try to use the product that include lots of people in they trials!! 40 patients is not enough for using something which you are going to use it several months or years.

    • Follicle Thought on April 26, 2022 at 1:58 pm

Svili, I’m sorry to hear about your experience. I’m glad to hear you’re seeing a doctor. I would be surprised if Rizn is the cause of every one of your ailments, but I respect your experience and I think you made a good decision to stop use. Well wishes.

    • Satish Asotra, on May 28, 2022 at 8:40 am

      Hello Svili,

Many people with mild to moderate hair loss have had good results with the use of RIZN so far. As you know, no product so far has proven to provide a significant hair growth improvement for every single person trying it. Unfortunately, you are a non-responder to our formulation.

Regarding your symptoms of headache and dizziness, those kinds of side effects have not been reported in our clinical trials or among past and current RIZN users. The literature on all RIZN ingredients does not report any special warnings. In fact, they are classified as supplements in the United States as the reported adverse events are usually mild and disappear after stopping their use/application.

Considering that your symptoms have continued after one month of product discontinuation, we agree that consulting a physician to assess the causes of these symptoms is necessary since many different factors could be in play.

If you have further questions, do not hesitate to contact us at support@rizn.ca.

      Kind regards,

Dr. Satish Asotra, M.Sc., Ph. D. Chief Scientific Officer, Triple Hair

    Hey

I did notice when I used this product that I developed quite a bad cough. It’s something I experienced when I take finasteride too. I know this symptom has never been reported for finasteride but if I stop taking it the cough goes away. Must be specific to me.
Not something I can really ignore with covid around also.

  60. Reader20 on June 25, 2022 at 6:16 pm

It has been about 10 months. I cannot tell if there is a difference from when I started. My pictures look similar. If so, then I would consider Rizn is working. I will keep using it for a while longer.
Other than a very slight burning feeling with the first application, I never had any other physical effects.
With the summer, I am seeing my hair turn a little more yellow-orange. I have been using a bluing shampoo. This turns my hair to a yellow color. I had brown hair when I was younger, so this works for me.
